Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free consultations?

Yes, I offer a 15-minute consultation to answer any questions and see if we’re the right fit. This is an opportunity to explore what you’re looking for, how I work, and what next steps might look like.
Schedule your free consultation here or call me at 404-275-9658.

How soon can I start therapy?

I typically have availability within 7-14 days. If you have specific scheduling needs, reach out as soon as possible so we can find a time that works best for you. Schedule your free consultation here or call me at 404-275-9658.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider. While many therapists choose to remain in-network, I believe that maintaining privacy and control over your treatment is essential. Insurance companies require a diagnosis and often dictate the length and type of treatment, which may not align with your needs. Additionally, even with HIPAA protections, mental health records submitted to insurance could potentially impact future applications for disability or life insurance. If you choose to work with me, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your provider about out-of-network coverage.

Where do you provide therapy?

I offer in-person therapy in Johns Creek, Georgia and online therapy for residents throughout Georgia. While I am open to virtual sessions, I strongly recommend starting with 3-4 in-person sessions when possible. This helps us establish a strong foundation and rapport before transitioning to virtual sessions. If you’re unsure what works best for you, we can discuss your options during our consultation.

What can I expect in my first session?

The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, explore what’s bringing you to therapy, and discuss your goals. We’ll talk about what’s working in your life, where you’re feeling stuck, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything—just come as you are.
Still have questions? Reach out here or call me at 404-275-9658.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA payments. I use Simple Practice, a secure client portal for scheduling and payments, to streamline the process. If you have any questions about payment options, feel free to reach out.

Why is therapy an investment?

Therapy is more than just an appointment—it’s an investment in your well-being, your relationships, and your long-term emotional health. Many clients find that therapy helps them break long-standing patterns, improve daily life, and gain tools that last beyond the time we work together.

If finances are a concern, let’s discuss options.
Final Thought: You Are Worth This

If you’ve spent your life taking care of everyone else, consider this your invitation to take up space, to be supported, to have a place that’s just for you.

Healing isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong.” It’s about learning to welcome all of who you are.

When you’re ready, I’m here.
