Life cycle transitions include any major change in your life. These may include:

• Getting married
• Getting divorced
• Having children
• Empty Nest Syndrome, or kids moving out of the house
• Spouse retiring or both of you retiring
• Taking care of elderly parents (sometimes while you are also taking care of minor children)

While some of these are times to celebrate, they are also big transitions and can be challenging.
